ABOUT US
The mission of the Sanders Trowel and Ward Center for Excellence, Inc. is to inspire the community for success. The STW Center of Excellence provides educational programs for the community. This includes the instruction and training of individuals developing their capabilities for their present and future professional
careers.
GOALS:
1. To encourage youth to become community leaders.
2. To develop positive role model attributes.
3. To decrease negative behaviors through anti bullying prevention, violence prevention and conflict resolution activities.
4. To promote academic excellence within the classroom.
The Sanders Ward Trowel Center for Excellence, Inc. was founded on February 25, 2010 by Mary Sanders Trowel, Tracy Trowel Curtis and Vonda Ward Drinkard.​

Mrs. Vonda Ward-Drinkard
worked in the Jefferson
County Public School
System in Louisville, KY
for over 32 years. She is
a constant motivator always aiming to instill vision and creativity in her pupils. For her efforts, she has received national recognition. She has established a business club for youths, in which the children learned self-esteem and business etiquette. The rewarding experience has encouraged Ms. Ward-Drinkard to expand the elements of her previous mentoring experiences to a broader arena. She now uses her entrepreneurial skills and motivational prowess to serve as co-owner of Picture Perfect Manners. She hosts seminars and workshops nationwide, and is excited for the continued opportunity to expand self-improvement partnerships through Picture Perfect Manners.

Mary Sanders Trowel

Ms. Mary Trowel is a
cosmetologist and
independent business
owner for over 38 years
in Louisville, Kentucky. Her
professional experience as an image consultant for people of all ages has provided a great deal of local recognition and awards. In addition, Ms. Trowel has an eye for professional and personal styling. All of this coupled with personal etiquette experiences has led her to pursue co-ownership of Picture Perfect Manners. She looks forward to sharing her valuable skills with her clients at Picture Perfect Manners.
Tracy Trowel Curtis

Mrs. Tracy Curtis is an
electrical engineer with
more than 13 years
experience in corporate
America nationwide. Mrs. Curtis has honed her business etiquette through her interactions on various corporate partnerships and interdisciplinary projects, as well as global business travel. She and her husband have sponsored numerous foreign exchange students from South Korea, China, Germany, Oman, Thailand, Palestine, and the Philippines. In addition, she volunteers with Family Counseling Services, Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Mrs. Curtis is sharing her knowledge and experiences of corporate etiquette with her Picture Perfect Manners clients and colleagues.
